Momenteel woed er een grote brand in een restaurant in het pretpark Bakken net buiten Kopenhagen in Denemarken. Het restaurant dat ligt tussen de Rutschebanen en Tornado achtbanen moet als verloren beschouwd worden.
On Wednesday night, all guests were evacuated from Bakken because of a violent fire.
Eyewitnesses inform BT that the Balcony 51 Restaurant burns.
“We are looking up and see that there is a lot of smoke coming up from Balcony 51. It will not take more than a couple of minutes, and we’ll see plug-ins,” says 51-year-old Susan Hansen to BT
She was present when the fire broke out.
“We are seeing smoke and people are being evacuated from Balcony 51. It evolved and the fire and police blocked,” says 53-year-old Henrik Greve Brandenborg to BT
Jacob Meisner Caspersen, who was a guest at the world’s oldest amusement park at the Dyrehavsbakken when the fire broke out, tells Ritzau shortly after 21:00 that all guests have been told to leave Bakken.
“Black smoke and big flames poured up from one of the restaurants,” he says, continuing:
“This is very smokey and we can hear that there are more fire trucks. We have heard that the fire has spread. “
Another source present in Dyrehaven informs BT that the restoration located on the first floor is very close to the old rink and that the fire burns very violently.

Nordsjællands police confirm that they together with the fire service have started the extinguishing work and write on Twitter:
»Restaurant is overtaken at Dyrehavsbakken. Firefighting on-site fighting the fire. The ground evacuated for guests. Immediately no injured person. ‘
According to the Chief of Defense of North Zealand Police Martin Bakke, the police do not have an overview of how many people were present at Bakken on Wednesday night.
“The evacuation was initiated by the staff at Bakken when we reached.”
But it is clear that the restoration is not going to save.
“The fire is so good at the restoration that it will burn down. But the deputy leader from the fire service says there is control that the fire is not spreading, “he says.
