Het Engelse pretpark Thorpe Park heeft “eindelijk” een vergunning aangevraagd voor het verwijderen van Slammer, hun unieke S&S Sky Swatter attractie, welke al sinds 2017 buiten gebruik is.
Het vreemde is wel dat ze alleen de bovengrondse delen van de ride verwijderen, maar de fundering en alle ondergrondse delen gewoon zullen laten zitten.

The park have long-said they intend to remove Slammer, but it was speculated they would do so only when they had a new ride to put in its place.
