Iedereen die wel bekend is met het land Slovenië, kent dit land meestal vanwege o.a. hoofdstad Ljubljana of het meer van Bled. Maar er is nog zoveel moois te zien in het land, dat regelmatig word overgeslagen.
Zo is daar onder andere de Logar Valley (Logarska Dolina), welke ongeveer 79km ten noorden van de hoofdstad te vinden is.
Een van de mooiste plekken in dit park is de Rinka Waterfall, welke goed zichtbaar is vanaf de naast gelegen Eagle’s Nest Bar.

The Logar Valley is one of the most magical places in Slovenia, but there are a few things you NEED to know before visiting:
– The Logar Valley was recently affected by strong storms that happened in July this summer, which means some part of the valley and some of the hikes are permanently closed
– Please respect the signs. I know we all want to travel and explore during the summer, but if the path is closed, it’s because it isn’t safe
– To reduce the volume of cars in the valley or if you don’t have your own vehicle, you can use the shuttle bus to the Logar Valley. It works every day during the summer

This valley is one of my favorite areas in Slovenia! Here you can also find really incredible local Slovenian food – make sure you eat at the local farms for fresh produce!
