Het park zou besloten hebben om af te stappen van de goedkope toegang welke alleen een promotie was, net als van de tijdsloten welke nu nog gebruikt worden. De nieuwe prijzen zullen vanaf 16 november gehanteerd gaan worden.
According to the local news the price of admission to Nickelodeon Universe is about to go up by a huge leap. The current promotional rate for the new park is said to be $49.99 for a limited time admission (10am to 3pm, or 4pm to 9pm), which already seems a bit steep for a park this small, especially when you consider that not everything is running yet. This rate will only last through to November 15th, and from there it will jump $30 bucks to $79.99 for adults and $59.99 for those under 48 inches for a full day admission to the park.
Keep in mind that you can buy a single day ticket to Six Flags Great Adventure for just $57.99 on their website and you can buy a season pass good to every Six Flags park in North America for as low as $71.99. Meanwhile an all day wristband to the first Nickelodeon Universe theme park inside the Mall of America is just $36.99.
I’m not sure what they are smoking in New Jersey, but ‘OUCH!’ is all I can say right now, because those prices are more than a bit excessive.
