Aesthetic Perfection is an American electronic industrial musical project created by Daniel Graves in 2000.
In 2009, Aesthetic Perfection acted as the opening act for Combichrist on their Demons on Tour tour in the USA and Europe. In 2014 the Swedes Covenant were accompanied. In May 2016 the band was able to sell out a show in Hamburg for the first time. In September 2016, Aesthetic Perfection was shown in the opening act of MESH. The first major independent tour through North America and Europe followed in 2017.
In 2017, as part of the tour announcement, Graves introduced the term “Industrial Pop” for his music, which he has retained to this day.
Aesthetic Perfection are marketed worldwide by the label Close To Human Music, which was founded and managed by Daniel Graves himself.
On March 29, 2019, Aesthetic Perfection released their sixth album Into the Black. Unlike previous albums which were released by labels, Into the Black was self-released. According to Graves, this was an intentional move towards running the band free of label intervention, due to a belief that the label industry model was “dying”.
