The Olympiapark was originally built for the 1936 Summer Olympics.
Centerpiece of this park is the Olympic Stadium, but there are many more sportsfields and stadiums in this area.
Over the years the Olympic Stadium hosted many imported football matches but it is also used for many other sports events and concerts.
For many years now the stadium is the home field for the Hertha BSC football team.
You can explore the public areas of the Olympiastadion Berlin and the Olympiapark Berlin by yourself or take a guided tour. Read about the stadium’s and the former Reichssportfeld’s history on the numerous documentary panels. You can also visit the glockenturm (bell tower) by paying a separated entrance fee.
