Berlin has several “Biergarten” outdoor areas where large groups of people can drink beer and snacks to eat. A typical phenomenon in Bavaria but also Berlin has nice Biergartens.
The oldest and one of the largest, is “Biergarten Prater” in Prenzlauer Berg. As in 1837, people came here to enjoy a beer. Then there are the theater, an outdoor cinema, a restaurant and added a nightspot. Along with some spaces for small businesses is the area a haven of peace and culture in this hectic place in Prenzlauer Berg.
