De sloop van  de verouderde simulator Race for Atlantis is in volle gang. Van de  opvallende goudkleurige koepel is de helft al verdwenen, blijkt uit een  exclusieve foto die Looopings kreeg toegestuurd.<\/strong><br><br> Officieel heeft het Duitse pretpark nooit bevestigd dat de attractie uit 1994 wordt afgebroken. Op 17 januari vond het laatste ritje plaats. Wat er op de plek van Race for Atlantis gebouwd gaat worden, is nog niet duidelijk.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Momenteel legt Phantasialand de laatste hand aan een middeleeuws themagebied &#8220;Klugheim&#8221; met twee nieuwe achtbanen, Taron &amp; Raik. De openingsdatum van dit gebied moet nog bekendgemaakt worden.
