Het pretpark is in 1946 geopend als Santa Claus Land met alleen attracties gefocust op Kerstmis.<br \/>\nZo was bijvoorbeeld het hele jaar door ook de kerstman aanwezig.<br \/>\nSinds 1984 heet het park Holiday World en heeft het meerdere themagebieden gebaseerd op verschillende Amerikaanse feestdagen, zoals kerstmis, halloween, thanksgiving en 4th of july.<\/p>\n<p>Het park is vooral bekend om zijn 3 beroemde houten achtbanen, Legend, Raven en The Voyage.
