Mijn allereerste kennismaking met het restaurant concept Hard Rock Cafe, was in 2002 in San Fransisco.
\nIn de anderhalve maand die ik begin 2002 (maart & april) in de omgeving verbleef (Silicon Valley), heb ik ook regelmatig Frisco bezocht. En als je dan toch in de stad bent, wil je toch ook ergens eten.
\nDankzij een tip van de Tourist Information, kwam ik dan hier terecht.
\nZelf zou ik het hoogstwaarschijnlijk nooit gevonden hebben omdat het toch wel een redelijk eind nog buiten de toeristische gebieden ligt.<\/p>\n

Wat ik mij nog goed weet te herinneren van dit bezoek was dat het binnen erg donker was. Het leek haast wel een bruine kroeg. Gelukkig was het eten erg goed en ook de rock memorabilia was enorm interessant.
\nDe bediening wist mij ook nog een nieuwtje te vertellen. Het zou namelijk nog maar een paar maanden duren voordat deze locatie zou sluiten en ze zouden verhuizen naar Pier 39\/Fisherman’s Wharf<\/a>, in 1 van de meest toeristische gebieden van de stad.<\/p>\n
