Het werd opgericht in 1907 en is het oudste nog bestaande pretpark van Californi\u00eb en een van de weinige kustparken aan de westkust van de Verenigde Staten .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het oostelijke uiteinde van de Boardwalk wordt gedomineerd door de Giant Dipper , een houten achtbaan die een van de meest zichtbare bezienswaardigheden in Santa Cruz is. De Dipper en de Looff Carousel , die nog steeds zijn originele 342 pijporgel bevat <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Organ_(music)\">, <\/a>gebouwd in 1894, staan \u200b\u200bbeide op het Amerikaanse National Register of Historic Places .
