Het parkje is na b.v. Disneyland en Parc Asterix een van de best bezochte pretparken in Frankrijk, met gemiddeld zo&#8217;n 600.000 bezoekers per jaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het parkje is gesticht door de 2 broers en voormalige kermisexploitanten Patrice en Philippe G\u00e9lis. De naam van het park is afkomstig van het woord &#8220;niglo&#8221; wat egel betekent in het Romani, de taal van de Roma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oldehanhoff.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Nigloland-map-2024.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"703\" src=\"https:\/\/oldehanhoff.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Nigloland-map-2024-1024x703.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40744\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oldehanhoff.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Nigloland-map-2024-1024x703.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/oldehanhoff.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Nigloland-map-2024-300x206.jpg 300w, https:\/\/oldehanhoff.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Nigloland-map-2024-768x527.jpg 768w, https:\/\/oldehanhoff.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Nigloland-map-2024-150x103.jpg 150w, https:\/\/oldehanhoff.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Nigloland-map-2024.jpg 1489w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Het park is verdeeld in vier thematische gebieden: Village Suisse, Village Merveillieux, Village Canadien en Village Rock&#8217;n&#8217;Roll.<br>Al deze gebieden hebben diverse attracties voor de hele familie, van kinder attracties, tot heftige thrillcoasters en een droptower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na in 2020 een nieuwe familie coaster te hebben geopend (<a href=\"https:\/\/rcdb.com\/17336.htm\">Noisette Express<\/a>), en in 2021 de watercoaster <br><a href=\"https:\/\/rcdb.com\/18358.htm\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/rcdb.com\/18358.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Krampus Exp\u00e9dition<\/a>, zal in <a href=\"https:\/\/rcdb.com\/21479.htm\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/rcdb.com\/21479.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2027<\/a> opnieuw een coaster openen.
